About Life That’s Reel:
Life That’s Reel is about more than fishing.
It’s about getting out there and living the adventures most people only talk about — the early starts, the unknowns, the long journeys, and the moments that stay with you long after the trip ends.
What started as a love of fishing has grown into something much bigger. A way to explore the world, connect with people and places, and chase experiences that feel real.
From wild rivers in Bosnia to the raw coastlines of West Africa and the flats of Belize, each trip tells a story. Not just of the fishing, but of everything around it — the landscapes, the culture, the challenges, and the unexpected moments in between.
This isn’t about ticking destinations off a list.
It’s about doing it properly. Taking the time. Learning from the people who live it every day. And embracing both the highs and the uncertainty that come with real adventure.
About Me

I’m not a full-time guide or a professional angler.
I’m someone who loves fishing, travel, and the pursuit of something a little different.
Fishing has always been a constant — but over time it’s become the foundation for something bigger. A way to step outside the routine, to challenge myself, and to experience parts of the world I might never have seen otherwise.
Some trips go exactly to plan.
Others don’t.
But that’s part of it.
Why This Exists
Life That’s Reel exists to show that these experiences aren’t out of reach.
That with the right mindset, a bit of planning, and a willingness to go for it, incredible adventures are possible.
Not someday.
Now.
The Idea
This is a collection of journeys built around fishing, travel, and the moments in between.
A place to share stories, document experiences, and hopefully inspire others to step outside the ordinary and create something real of their own.
